To be more specific, let's take for instance page 15 of this pdf file: I can see the left side of the page as a lot whitened as compared to the right side. Again, the file has been downloaded, it's not online. Other damaged pages do contain these areas as completely white.

Do you mean I should have the latest version? - It's too big for my PC. - Or which one did you mean then?
